The 2011 REESE PI Meeting was held Thursday and Friday, October 20-21, at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City. ARC worked closely with NSF Program Officers to organize this year's PI meeting. Session topics included neuroscience, cyberlearning, engineering education, cognitive science research, motivation/engagement, inclusion in STEM, workforce development, inquiry based teaching, and new directions in assessment:
A print copy of the 2011 REESE Briefing Book containing an agenda, session descriptions, speaker bios, and a list of participants was included in every meeting packet. An online version can be found here:
To provide an archive and allow other members of REESE project teams to learn about their colleagues’ work, ARC will again create an online poster hall. We ask that you send a Powerpoint or PDF of your poster to firstname.lastname@example.org:
Please take a moment to fill out the online evaluation form if you did not submit a hardcopy of the form at the meeting:
Evaluation forms for each concurrent session are available to print and mail in the online Agenda above. Your comments and suggestions will help us better serve the REESE community!
